“May you find evidence of what has already taken root, traces of what is preparing to bloom, and little reminders, wherever you can find them, that sing to you.”

The pace of life right now can feel fast, demanding, and often disconnected from what fulfils us as human beings. We are existing in a world that prioritizes productivity over healing, and which does not often create space for our emotional and mental well being. These elements could be one of the reasons you’er feeling at odds with yourself.
For you, this could show up in your body: a persistent tension in your shoulders, a pressure in your chest, or your breath feeling laboured and heavy. Or, you might feel often stuck in a place that seems outside of your control, or fighting recurring patterns you can’t quite figure out how to escape from…. leaving you in state where your mind or heart starts to race. When we can’t settle these moments for ourselves, of course it makes sense that we end up feeling exhausted and disillusioned. For many of us, the ways we have learned to cope also don’t support us feeling connected to ourselves, our families or to communities anymore.
While we can’t separate ourselves fully from the world around us, and the systems that make it difficult to tend to ourselves in ways that work, we can learn how to move within them feeling more grounded and authentic. In sessions with me, we have the opportunity to become curious about how the different parts of ourselves interact with each other and with the world. We can slow down the racing thoughts and bring breath to soften the tension you may be feeling; we can also work towards identifying your core emotional needs and addressing your attachment patterns - we start with whatever is most present.
I want to honour your capacity, your humanness, and your need for rest, care, and belonging. If you’re ready, I’m here to meet you exactly where you are.

A Little About Me as A Counsellor
My own healing journey is what led me to become a counsellor, as the insight I was able to gain through this process brought me back to myself. The journey was sometimes raw and painful, but it helped me to find the little glimmers in life and to give myself the love that I always yearned for. As I learned to honour myself, I found the desire to support others on that journey as well. I believe that each of us is a work in progress, and we are all deserving of finding peace and softness in our lives.
One of my strengths as a counsellor is bringing self compassion and allowing the space and time to explore and honour your own values and stories. I also believe that discovering and living in alignment with the values which bring you the most meaning to your life is a powerful healing tool.
As a queer and neurodivergent practitioner, I am extremely passionate about advocating for and working with the neurodivergent and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. As an individual existing in a larger body, my approach also includes extensive knowledge of fat acceptance, fat liberation, body neutrality and Health at Every Size.
While these intersections of my own experience color my approach with my clients, my goal is to provide a safe and validating space for every client I encounter.
My Approach
In our work together, you will find me rooted in gentleness, openness, and empathy. I make space for acceptance and self‑compassion, especially for the parts of you that feel messy, uncomfortable, or unsure. Together we can create a safe and non-judgemental container where you can explore. I will also show up authentically and as myself in order to build real connection. We can collaboratively build trust and a strong foundation first, so we can move deeper into our work together as we go.
I also approach my practice from a foundation rooted in social justice, neurodivergent advocacy, 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusivity, a decolonized framework, body inclusivity, anti-racist values, and intersectionality. These deeply held values allow me to create a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space for all clients, where healing and personal growth can thrive.
I work hard to provide holistic, integrative and client-centred care that supports long-term well-being and empowerment.
I hold a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.
I welcome diverse clients of all ages, cultures, genders, sexual orientations and abilities.
