Fees are set in accordance with the professional ethical standards recommended by the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Each of our counsellors offer unique rates; please view their individual pages for details.

We accept payment via cash (exact amount please!), cheque or E-transfer.

Please note that if possible, all clients are required to have a valid credit card on file to be charged in the event of late cancellations, no shows or delayed payment without notice or response.

 

50-minute Session: $140-6- + GST
Suggested for Individual Counselling Sessions

 

50-minute sliding scale session: $110 + GST
Student or sliding scale rate - limited spaces, please inquire about availability

 

75-minute Session: $190-230 + GST
Suggested length for EMDR and Couples Counselling

80-minute Yoga & Counselling Session: $210 + GST

Counselling with a Registered Clinical Counsellor is covered by many extended benefit plans, including Blue Cross, Sunlife, greenshield, manulife and UBC extended health insurance (I Have A Plan).

Unfortunately at this time, the majority of insurance companies do not offer direct billing for counselling services. New Tides will provide you with a receipt for services, which you can submit to your insurance company upon receipt.
