FAQ

  • This group is for anyone who has experienced stress (so most of us!) and is interested in learning more about recognizing and responding to stress responses!

    This is not a “process group” - it focuses on education, tools and does not replace seeing a counsellor one-on-one

    This group is NOT for folks in crisis or who need immediate support for acute trauma (unless it serves as an addition to current support - please discuss this with us and/or your current counsellor)

  • It is our hope that you will leave with:

    • A deeper understanding of stress

    • Tools you can use immediately

    • A felt sense of grounding

    • Info about trauma-informed group support

  • Yes! Our workshops and groups are actually great for improving your efficiency with your current counselling, as they allow you to ‘learn’ and reflect outside of sessions, leaving your time with your counsellor for processing deeper experiences and emotions on an individual level.

  • With any computer, phone, tablet, or device that is zoom compatible. Our facilitators will send you a secure zoom link prior to the session starting.
