Connect With One of Our Addiction Counsellors who Work Clients Navigating Substance Use
Finding the right counsellor matters.
The following counsellors on our team have availability for new clients and bring different personalities, experiences and approaches to therapy.
We offer free 15-minute consultations so you can connect and ask questions first.
You can browse our counsellors yourself or have our intake team help you find a potential fit.
In counselling, we will work together to address issues related to substance use you may experience, such as:
Anxiety, Depression, and shame
Intrusive thoughts about substances or your coping mechanism of choice
Compulsion or feeling loss of control
Feeling stuck or lost, or feeling angry about not being able to move forward
We will also work together to explore and address the root challenges that often show up as the underlying reason, including
social anxiety
grief & unresolved sadness
relational loss, challenge or trauma
burnout or ongoing pressure/responsibilities
a sense of shame or worthlessness in who you are
challenges feeling difficult emotions or stress
childhood trauma or family of origin challenges
Regardless of the origin, we will work together to leave you feeling more self-aware, less stuck, and feeling empowered to move forward with more agency in the choices you make.
We hope to guide you toward feeling more connected to what is important to you and your ability to show up as the person you desire and know you can be, free of substances or addictive patterns.
