We know that grief can be an ongoing process with many different stages and layers that are not always straightforward. Often grief can be complex and include opposing emotions. Experiences such as losing a parent that one wasn’t close with, or grieving a past version of ourselves, even as we are excited to move forward can feel overwhelming and confusing.
